Jojoba Oil

Jojoba oil is extracted from the seeds of the jojoba shrub (Simmondsia chinensis). It is a unique and special plant oil; although we call it an oil, chemically it is not an oil but a liquid wax. This characteristic is what makes it unique. It moisturizes the skin by forming a thin, non-greasy, semi-occlusive layer and makes the skin soft and supple. Because it is easily absorbed, it is suitable for all skin types from the driest to the oiliest; due to its non-comedogenic nature (it does not clog pores), it is recommended for more sensitive skin or skin prone to acne. On hair, it helps nourish and moisturize the strands, leaving them shiny and easy to manage. It also helps the scalp with sebum regulation, keeping it balanced and healthy.
