Orders placed at soverde.pt are processed automatically and immediately upon payment confirmation. So Verde does not accept order cancellations once an order has been confirmed.

1. WHY WE DO NOT ACCEPT CANCELLATIONS 

So Verde operates a fast-fulfilment model. The moment payment is confirmed, your order is automatically routed into our processing system — stock is reserved, packing begins and a shipping label is generated, often within the same business day. This process is automated and does not allow for manual intervention once triggered.

Because of this immediate and automated workflow, So Verde is unable to intercept, modify or cancel an order once it has entered the fulfilment pipeline. By completing your purchase you acknowledge and accept this process.

📌  This policy is fully compliant with EU Directive 2011/83/EU and Decree-Law No. 24/2014. Neither law requires a seller to accept pre-delivery cancellations. Your statutory rights after delivery remain unaffected — see Section 3.

2. ORDERED BY MISTAKE OR CHANGED YOUR MIND? 

We understand that mistakes happen. If you placed an order in error — wrong product, wrong quantity or a simple change of mind — please be aware that So Verde cannot halt or reverse the fulfilment process.

In these situations, your options are:

  • Accept delivery of the order when it arrives
  • Exercise your legal 14-day Right of Withdrawal after receiving the parcel — you may return the product unopened and receive a refund of the product value. Return shipping in this case is at your expense.
  • Contact us after delivery if the product arrived damaged, defective or incorrect — in those cases So Verde covers return shipping and provides a full refund.

💡  Before placing your order, please review your cart carefully — product name, quantity, size and delivery address. So Verde cannot be held responsible for orders placed with incorrect details by the customer.

3. YOUR LEGAL RIGHTS ARE NOT AFFECTED  

This cancellation policy does not remove or limit any statutory consumer rights guaranteed under EU law. Specifically:

Right of Withdrawal: 14 calendar days from the date of delivery to return an unopened, sealed product — no reason required. Customer pays return shipping.

Conformity Guarantee: 2-year legal protection against manufacturing defects or products not matching their description. So Verde covers all costs in these cases.

Defective or Wrong Item: If your order arrives damaged, faulty or incorrect, please contact us within 14 days of delivery. Full refund and free return label provided.

4. SO VERDE'S RIGHT TO CANCEL ORDERS  

While customers cannot cancel confirmed orders, So Verde reserves the right to cancel any order at its sole discretion, including but not limited to the following circumstances:

  • The ordered product is out of stock or became unavailable after the order was placed
  • A pricing error, technical fault or typographical mistake resulted in an incorrect price being displayed — So Verde is not obligated to honour erroneous prices
  • Payment was not successfully authorised, verified or cleared
  • The order is suspected to be fraudulent, automated or linked to prior abuse of So Verde policies
  • Delivery to the specified address is not feasible within our shipping zones
  • Force majeure events prevent fulfilment — including supplier disruptions, natural disasters, strikes or government-imposed restrictions

In any of the above cases, a full refund will be issued within 5–7 business days and the customer will be notified by email. This constitutes So Verde's sole obligation upon cancellation.

 5. ACCEPTANCE OF THIS POLICY  

By completing a purchase at soverde.pt, the customer confirms that they have read, understood and accepted this Cancellation Policy in its entirety. This policy forms part of the Terms and Conditions governing all orders placed on this website and is governed by Portuguese law.

So Verde reserves the right to update this policy at any time. The version published on soverde.pt at the time of purchase applies to that order.
