Baobab Oil

The African baobab (Adonsonia digitata) is the best known of the nine baobab species. A sacred tree for many cultures. Baobab oil is extracted from the fruit's seeds by cold pressing and is widely used in the manufacture of cosmetics. Oil rich in Omegas 6 and 9, fatty acids, oleic and linoleic acids, vitamins and antioxidants essential for the maintenance of hair and skin. It is easily absorbed by the hair, being an excellent moisturizer, emollient and lipid replenisher, promoting shine and protecting hair color. On the skin it acts as an anti-aging agent without a greasy feel, fights stretch marks and improves skin elasticity; as a powerful cell regenerator it is used on scars and other applications, such as relief for eczema, psoriasis, burns, chapped lips and dry skin.
