Steam-distilled from the kernels (seeds) of Myristica fragrans, Nutmeg has a rich, sweet, warmly spicy aroma with a woody, faintly musky depth. It is a comforting, warming oil — diluted into a carrier and massaged over the tummy it can ease everyday digestive discomfort, and over tired joints and muscles it lends a gentle, warming touch. Nutmeg blends beautifully with citrus, floral and woody oils, adding cosy depth to seasonal diffuser blends.
