Frequently asked questions

What is sunflower lecithin?
Sunflower lecithin is a lipid substance extracted from sunflower seeds and naturally contains various phospholipids.
What is phosphatidylcholine?
Phosphatidylcholine is one of the main phospholipids of lecithin. It is also present in foods such as eggs, sunflower seeds, and cereals.
Is the product suitable for vegetarians or vegans?
No, softgels contain bovine gelatin and are therefore not suitable for vegetarians or vegans.
What is the difference between sunflower lecithin and soy lecithin?
Both provide similar phospholipids, but sunflower lecithin comes from sunflower seeds and does not naturally contain soy.
Why should this supplement be taken with a meal?
It is recommended to take sunflower lecithin with a meal because it is a lipid substance that is better absorbed in combination with other fats from food. This supports the absorption of phospholipids, such as phosphatidylcholine. Additionally, taking it with a meal can help prevent potential gastrointestinal discomfort.
