Grown at lower Mediterranean altitudes, it is naturally higher in camphor and 1,8-cineole, which gives it a fresh, herbaceous, distinctly camphoraceous aroma rather than the soft sweetness of true lavender. That makes it a great choice for clear, easy breathing and as a warming massage oil for tired, aching muscles, while its bright scent helps sharpen focus and alertness.
